The worst window for stripping green paint is done. It took Floyd and I a while and lots of TLC to get this one done. The trim wasn’t bad – the same as other trim – but the window frame itself is from 1911, and the green was embedded heavily in the wood. There is still a little green remaining. Call it character.
The other side of it facing the kitchen sink is still painted white. It matches one other window in the kitchen.
We also ran an old 2×4 through the table saw and created some quarter-round trim. It’s not perfect, but it looks nice.
