I was thinking of a title to give this.
We dug a hole to put the gravel and sand that will hold the concrete pads for the walkway. What on earth do you call that?
A lot of work, that’s what!
We moved the shed from the pads they were sitting upon to inside the gazebo. (No mean feat.) We needed the 2’x2′ pads for the walkway. Besides that, it was in the way of the future fence and hindered the partial deconstruction of the gazebo.
Next: cover the hole with landscape fabric, fill it with gravel and sand, lay the concrete pads down, and level it all.
