In an effort to scrape the lipstick off the pig, the bathtubs were removed from both suites, and the old gas stove from the 1940s was brought to the dump. So what do I put in as replacements?
The new range for upstairs arrived. I’m not unboxing it until it is upstairs. Since I have no stairs, it remains downstairs. What does it look like? Wayfair.ca sold it to me.
I also got a new vanity. Dave saw it on sale at Rona.
He also saw a shower door. This morning, I saw one at Home Depot. I also saw the price – $768. Okay, so I’m old – but I believe I should be able to buy an entire shower stall with door for that price. I walked out feeling rather hang-d0g. Later, when Dave showed up, my mood brightened. We looked in the Rona flyer online and saw one for half price. so I ordered both right away.
When this shower door arrived, I had no idea it was so heavy. I think it must have been 100 lbs.
Not much else was done today aside from odds and ends.
