siding weight issues

So we bought all that cement board siding (Hardie Board) for the exterior of 520 rear.  But, after adding continuous (no furrow strips) soundproofing and insulation, the width of the wall is now extended 2-7/8″ past the sheathing, or 3-1/4″ past the studs, which are only 2×4.  What kind of hardware is needed to hang cement board siding that far out from the studs?  Once the calculations are done, the cement board siding comes in at 93 lbs. per 4×8′ area.

Another type of siding, called LP SmartSide, an engineered wood product, comes in at 44.5 lbs. per 4×8′ sheet.  However, at $61.45 per sheet, it’ll add up quickly.

As you can see, LP SmartSide is much more expensive but only compared to the deal I got on the Hardie Board.

From their website, they say Hardie Board is 2.34 pounds per square foot, making it 112.32 lbs./4×8 area.  My calcs were 113.7 lbs.

So now I have all this Hardie Board, 190 pieces of it, and don’t know what to do with it.  I guess I can sell it online.
