The blue arc-fault wiring dangling from the 2nd floor is now connected. I had to wait for the upstairs bedroom / stairwell wall to be relocated before connecting this up the receptacle.
The kitchen 3-way light and fan switches are now connected – or, at least, one end of it. Yes, I know, one switch is a different colour. I’ll get on that as well as stapling the wires down.
Rona has a sale on the “carriage lamp” (old style exterior light). It matches the one for the 2nd floor entrance.
The back doors are now spray-foam-insulated.
On my way home, I carried the living room and kitchen ceiling fans with me to match up the size and colour of fan blade screws – silver for the kitchen, brass for the living room. Some bonehead lost the originals. (Me.) I’ll show you the fans when they’re up. The kitchen fan / light must be relocated.
If only I could find the switch I want for the bathroom. It is a motion dimmer switch that a) doesn’t stay on dim all the time and b) doesn’t fail prematurely. It is for the toilet light. You know, for getting up in the middle of the night without turning the bathroom light on. I’ll keep looking.
