The main floor suite (P1a) is nearly complete. All rooms have been (mostly) done except the kitchen. It is still a disaster. Here is what must be done today:
- put up BR1 ceiling boards
- remove nails from BR2 ceiling
- cut blind, hang in BR3
- spot clean bathroom floor
- buy laundry shelf hangers, add remaining shelves
- install electrical panel covers
- clean shower
- add stick to bathroom window
The tenant asked about curtains. I told them there are blackout blinds in the bedrooms and daylight blinds in the rest. The bathroom window has privacy film.
I cleaned the bathroom vanity, toilet, laundry, floor, etc. The shower still needs a quick scrub.
2x6s were bought from Lealta, cut, painted, and installed in the bathroom and mudroom. Edge trim was added. Privacy film was added to the bathroom window. In doing so, I had to remove the latch catch, a metal bracket inside the window dropped, and the window no longer locks. I’ll fix it when I have time.
Pulls (a.k.a. handles) were added to the laundry, vanity, and kitchen cabinets.
While I was working on all of this, Floyd and Dave were loading the trailer up with junk from the side of the house. There was a lot of junk! They worked on this for a long time. When I get done my inside chores, I’ll take this load to the landfill. I’ll take a pic of the sidewalk today.
So here is how the place looks now. I’ll take pics of the kitchen, pantry, mudroom, and back entrance when ready.
