I got the living room blinds (Home Depot) and some screws to put them up (Canadian Tire).
New 1x4s for window framing.
Paint from Canadian Tire. (Previously went to Dulux, but they are a bit expensive, and the company seems to like swallowing up other smaller companies.)
Backing was added between the stair stringers to put in a door stop (bumper to prevent gouging).
I had no idea where to put the toilet roll holder, so this is where it ended up.
I swapped a light switch from upstairs to keep everything the same in both suites.
Here’s the door stop.
The drywall around the kitchen door trim had to be doctored as there was no door when the kitchen drywall was done weeks ago.
