doorstop installed, repairs marked, tools moved, pantry drywalled, floors cleaned

A door stop was added.  The door was much higher than the thin wood baseboard trim, so some backing was added.

The dent the door created was marked for repair.

Plaster and lathe boards were cut to expose the framing.  (The dust hadn’t settled yet.)  Dave did his usual drywall magic.  It was his first time matching drywall to plaster.

Now we have no place to stash the tools, so today is the day to begin transferring tools, equipment, and supplies upstairs.  The bugout begins.

Dave’s handiwork.  Prime and paint to follow.

More needed repairs noted by bits of green tape.

I told the main floor tenant that the mudroom will be used for equipment used in completion of construction and will not be part of the suite until then.  This gives us a place to put drywall, tools, etc. without fear of being rained upon.

The panorama view on my phone makes a room look very small.  The 1st bedroom floor is cleaned.

The second bedroom floor is cleaned.

The living room floor is mostly cleaned.

Most of the junk in front of the house is moved.
