projects on the go
Since the house was raised more than four inches (20cm), and the lean-to (rear entrance add-on) was rebuilt and raised at a different time, the roof line where it was sealed to the house was compromised. The shingles buckled, and leaks occurred in heavy rains. I cut the shingles to the correct shape and sealed it with roofing tar. Ugly but sufficient.
Health issues and wind prevented me from doing more this day.
All the equipment, supplies, tools, etc. that I could cram into the van were brought from the property yesterday. I’ll unload it all into the garage at home.
Another dump run.
The Canadian Tire P-trap doesn’t fit. The pipes are 1-1/2″, and this P-trap is 2″. Nonetheless, I found the right one. Where? In the plumbing box. <sigh>
The tenants need a shower, but the shower door still needs to be resized. In the mean time, a simple shower curtain will suffice.
Along with a shower curtain, screws to hold the window cranks on.
